Awards

Beer from the Klášter brewery has won many awards in domestic and foreign competitions. Some recent competitions:

World Beer Championships Chicago, USA:

• 2004 – 14% light special – gold medal
• 2004 – 12% light lager – silver medal
• 2004 – 10% dark beer – bronze medal

Awards from competitions organized by the Sdružení přátel piva (Friends of Beer Association):

• 2005 – Klášterská 11% was awarded the title “Beer of the Year 2005”
• 2006 – Klášterská 11% was awarded the title “Beer of the Year 2006” and became the best 11% of the year for the fourth time
• 2006 – Klášterská 12% won 3rd place
• 2007 – Klášterská 11% was awarded the title “Beer of the Year 2007” and became the best 11% of the year for the fifth time.
